Sunday Worship

Morning Worship (10.45am-12.05pm)

Our worship is informal. We enjoy singing new songs and old and give opportunity for members of the congregation to share in open prayer. We also believe that the ministry of God's Word through preaching is an important part of our worship.

The whole Church Fellowship meets for the first part of the meeting. After 20 minutes or so, members of the Junior Church go to their classes. They return towards the end of the meeting, and talk about what they have been doing with the rest of the congregation. In that way, although we learn in separate groups, we encourage everyone to share together.

On the third Sunday morning of the month, morning worship includes the celebration of Communion. All Christians are encouraged to share the bread and wine - and so remember Christ's sacrifice. There is, though, no compulsion, and anyone is free to let the bread and wine pass.

After the morning service we serve refreshments and encourage all who have been at the meeting to continue in fellowship, greeting one another, welcoming visitors and catching up on news.

Evening Worship (6.30-7.45pm)

Our evening meetings are less formal than those in the morning. We sing and pray; there is opportunity for members of the congregation to share what God is doing in their lives and to mention matters for prayer. The meeting also includes Bible-based activities - though this may not always be a sermon.

There is opportunity after both morning and evening meetings for ministry and prayer for healing.
